In 1965, the swimming pier looked much the same as it does today.

Dirty birds, dirty birds, yuk!  Today's campers wouldn't think of keeping such a messy tent, right?

Is this the same Health Lodge we have today?  If so, it looked much "healthier" in 1965..

The good old Lodge.

This view is from the lodge floor during a Staff Show in 1966.

Indian lore was a big part of camp in the '60's.

The rippling waters of Phantom Lake are viewed from the camp road.

The swamp is wide open during 1966, nowhere near the overgrown tangle that now exists.

Beth Matzek takes the stage with her guitar during a Pajama Party.

Connie Meek and another staff member play guitars while someone else sings along at the Pajama Party.  (This caption would be much better with the actual names ...)

Um...

Camp is "invaded" in 1966.

A scene from the old dining hall during breakfast in '66.

The riding program is a big attraction in 1967.

Could this be a preview of Beth's fascination with archery?  (I'm hoping the girl on the left is about 20 yards farther from the camera than the girl with an arrow ready to fire!)

Someone's spinning the 45's for a dance in 1967.

Campers lsiten to a song performed by M.J.  Further details will be given as they become available.

I believe the tent sign says "Cripple Creek".  As for the campers pictured here, a box of cookies to anyone who can identify them all.

Beth Matzek has either arrived real early for a campfire or has decided to take Rest Hour outside.
